27, 27, 27, 27

... well the number is lucky for Jake so maybe if I embrace it enough it'll become lucky for me?? As I reach my late 20's I'm finding myself yelling "SLOW DOWN". 27 isn't old - I know this. But it's older then the 22 year old I feel that I am!! haha This year for my birthday I just wanted to relax. I wanted to sit in the backyard, lay out the kiddie pool, drink sangria and just relax. So that's exactly what I did and I enjoyed every single second.

The next morning we went on a little hike, Jilly's first hike, up somewhere near Corona. We only had Jilly's infant pouch to carry her in and we quickly learned she's just too darn big for that thing now!! Time to invest in a big backpack carrier as we definitely plan to be an outdoorsy family! I absolutely love nature and the hike was pretty peaceful. I wish I lived in the middle of it! Seriously I need to live in a house in the middle of nowhere. Someday I will -  I promise!
