Weekend Sun

This weekend was nice and warm and sunny and just flat out wonderful! I've said it time and time again but we're just so busy and that's made it so hard for us to just take a step back and enjoy our everydays. I miss weekends like this one and I hope to have many, many more this summer when things settle down. But for now I'll cherish the ones I do get.

Saturday Jilly and I spent the day lounging around while Daddy worked on his Jeep. Jilly had received a little kiddie pool for her birthday so I blew it up for the first time in hopes that Jilly would enjoy it! Ummm let's just say she's pretty used to bath water. My spoiled girl. LOL she loved being outdoors that's for sure. The pool water was just a little too cool for her. Oh well, we spent a nice Mommy and Me day outdoors, sunlight is always a secret cure for happiness!

And then on Sunday Amy, Leonard, Jax, Jill and I went down to Fashion Island to go meet the Easter Bunny! Jilly did great last year but probably because she was barely 8 weeks old. LOL This year, not so much. She loved playing with him when he was standing far away and Mommy was holding her... but once that bunny grabbed for Jilly she freaked out! Why do I torture my child? For the cute pictures and memories of course!

She's going to trip over that bottom lip one day... it's ALWAYS sticking out!
